Does S3XY.rent handle rental payments?
Not in v0.1. Owners and renters confirm price, deposit, insurance, pickup, and payment directly.
Is a request a confirmed booking?
No. A request tells the owner what you want and which dates you need. The rental is only real after the owner confirms with you directly.
Can guests request items without an account?
Yes. Guest requests use a one-time code check before they reach the owner. During the MVP test period, the code is shown on screen until automated email delivery is added.
How many photos can an item have?
Electron, Proton, and Collider keep one clear photo per item. Fleet supports up to four photos for richer item galleries.
What is a personal item ledger?
It is the owner-side record for each item: availability, blocked dates, handoff notes, and request history. It works for small rental businesses and personal items you only promote occasionally.
Does S3XY.rent message guests for owners?
Not yet. The dashboard prepares useful email copy, but the owner still sends the message from their own mail app.
